Re: Cs80 parts
Michael:
Other than the guy in California you mentioned, I don't know of anyone with parts like that. Most everything I know of are boards and chips.
The later model CP-30 pianos had the same key

Cs80 parts
Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone has a husked cs80. I’m looking for two parts.
Specifically the glove box door that covers the “memories” faderbank, and one leaf key contact.
Both are pictures

Re: Tech recommendations in or around Los Angeles
Paul Morte Technical Services in Orange, CA does good work on CS-80's.

Tech recommendations in or around Los Angeles
Hi folks,
I’ll finally be moving my CS80 down the coast to my new home in LA in a couple of months, and I’ve been thinking of giving it a long overdue ‘spa treatment’—replacing decaying

Re: CS80 Tuning Problems
As long as we’re talking just a few cents off in either direction, I always understood this was standard behaviour, and why it’s suggested that you let the synth warm up to a stable operating temp

Re: CS80 Tuning Problems
Do you think it ok to keep using the keyboard for the time being, or am I risking doing damage to other parts of the CS?

Re: CS80 Tuning Problems
Hi Scott, I don’t know. I can ask the technician, he would likely know since he said he had to wait for it to warm up before he could calibrate that voice.

Re: CS80 Tuning Problems
My expectation is that the chip has become defective. There's not much else that would do that and stabilize after 15 or 20 minutes as you describe.
How far out is it when it's cold before it warms

Re: CS80 Tuning Problems
Hello everyone, I have a CS80 that recently developed a tuning problem with one voice. The repair shop that worked on it a few years ago thought it might be a calibration issue. I just got it back

Re: Yamaha CS-80 dimension
I have the lid stowed away but it has roughly the same dimensions as the tolex-covered bottom part of the instrument.

The 295 mm dimension is the height with the lid in place.

Re: Yamaha CS-80 dimension
Add another 13 to 15 kilograms to the weight without the lid and you should be covered (the lid is heavy as hell but so is the rest of this thing).

Yamaha CS-80 dimension
Title says it all…
I have the following ones. mm 1.206 x 681 x 295, weight 82 kg.
Are these the measures WITH or WITHOUT the original lid? I needed the ones WITH the lid...
Thanks
Fernando

Hello everybody,
I was discussing with a friend as to which could be the most extensive upgrade for the CS-80 available so far and if there could be one more extensive than this one
