Hi everybody, I am looking for the (hopefully) factory made, pintle-mounted mast crutch, if anyone would sell one to me.  Thanks!

Nice response Michele! Barton Marine doesn't have much more information on their site[1] (and they do not sell direct, anyway.) Nice to see they have furlers of sizes suitable for WWP's, too.

Thanks! That’s a handy little one! Did you know there was one that came with the American Potter (maybe the English too I don’t know). I used to have one and long story short I don’t anymore. That was the one I was thinking of, but this one is dandy!

Having searched for one of these mast supports on line, I see that Steveston Marine in BC (Canada) have these on sale for cdn$74.24 plus taxes, shipping (or free local pick up).  I’ve just ordered one…bargain 😊

Could you post a link to the product? I can't find it on their site.
Thank you!

Hi Michele,
Here it is.  The part number they list corresponds to Barton Marine’s for the mast support.  not sure why it says light bar holder after ‘dinghy mast support’.  If they mail me the wrong item I’ll let this forum know.!

The 'crossbar' feature on the aft side of the crutch can carry a light assembly connected to the trailer lights. There is a potential benefit, in that such lights should never be anywhere near being submerged in salt (or fresh!) water.

Hi Amgine, I agree.

It a design for the UK market where drivers carry a trailer light and number/license plate set up on a wide wooden board (easily removed for storage), rather than having the plate affixed to the bottom of a boat trailer as is the norm this side of the pond.

That's handy!!!!
