wsprdaemon error.
Rob,
Is this the error that never recovers? Found 12 new 'ERROR:' lines in /dev/shm/wsprdaemon/recording.d/BE/630/decoding_daemon.log among its 3325 new log lines. Tue 12 Jul 2022 04:40:02 UTC: get_wav_file_list() ERROR: while waiting for the last of 10 wav files to fill, 'sleep_until_raw_file_is_full 20220712T043901Z_474200_usb.wav' => 2 73, Steve KD2OM |

Hi Steve, WD recovers from that error as it does from most errors. That ERROR line has been flushed from that log file, but I see your WD decoding your 630M FST4W transmissions since then: Tue 12 Jul 2022 12:45:03 UTC: decoding_daemon() FST4W decode a 900 second wav file by running cmd: '/home/plex/wsprdaemon/bin/jt9 -a /dev/shm/wsprdaemon/recording.d/BE/630/F_900 --fst4w -p 900 -f 1500 -F 100 220712_1230.wav >& jt9_output.txt' Tue 12 Jul 2022 12:45:09 UTC: decoding_daemon() Found FST4W spots. These spot log lines have the format NUM_FIELDS : SPOT_LINE: 10: 1230 0 36 0.1 1456. 0 KD2OM FN12 10 FST4 Tue 12 Jul 2022 12:45:09 UTC: decoding_daemon() Found FST4W type 1 and/or type 3 spots: 220712 1230 36 0.1 0.475656 KD2OM FN12 10 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 16 Tue 12 Jul 2022 12:45:09 UTC: decoding_daemon() FST4W found some mode 16 spots after 6 seconds: 1230 0 36 0.1 1456. 0 KD2OM FN12 10 FST4 Which were formatted into uploadable lines: 220712 1230 36 0.1 0.475656 KD2OM FN12 10 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 16 That is an ERROR line which reports that kiwirecorder lost contact with the Kiwi while recording a wav file. KWR seems to be pretty good a recovering without from those errors without any intervention from WD, but there is code in WD to restart KWR from persistent failures to record Rob On Tue, Jul 12, 2022 at 6:09 AM KD2OM <steve@...> wrote: Rob, --
