Tom,
note that the Linux Kernel of Ubuntu 20.03 is working rather inefficient with the current Alderlake hybrid CPUs. You at least need Kernel 5.18 ... also many drivers for Hardware peripherals are not efficiently working yet on current Linux Kernel

It will need sometime until these issues are solved for the hybrid CPUs...

iGPU use also still needs more development but seems to be solved from Kernel 5.18 onward...

Hope you do not experience any instability in current use...

Hi Ullie,

I am currently running 20.04LTS with desktop.  I am happy to say that I do not see any processor throttling any this point, in fact I have actually observed and screenshot cpu utilization of 101%.

I do not how this can be.

Those % in top are relative to one core.
So if you have a 10 core machine it would max out at 1000% cpu

I am not referring to statistics in top,
I am using psensor for Ubuntu desktop which shows each of the 16 cores utilization and temperature independently.
