running wspr only (not FSTW4), The answer is between 4-7. 8 is
too much and I have not tried to fine the sweet spot. At the $,
run two and split the load!

I previously set up VNC and the Tailscale mesh VPN on this Inovato (works great!) so wonder if that has anything to do with the error message. And if so, wondering what I would need to change. Hi Bruce, As the last line in your email says:
So you need to edit your ~/wsprdaemon/wsprdaemon.conf file to define the IP address of your Kiwi(s0 and the reception schedule's bands and receive modes(s) 73, Rob On Thu, Feb 2, 2023 at 11:22 AM Jim Lill <jim@...> wrote:

Rob, Thanks for your guidance, I didn't recall any error message with the default wsprdaemon.conf when I set up my first instance on a Pi way back in 2021(?), and I guess I got thrown off too by the "proxy" term in the error message, thinking it had something to do with the Tailscale VPN. Looking forward to editing the wsprdaemon.conf with the Kiwi address etc, which sounds like will eliminate the error message. I must say the tailscale mesh VPN is a delight to use, allowing me to finally stop exposing ports on the WAN side for an assortment of devices I have at three locations. And so long to (gasp) remote VNC access via an unsecured public WAN port. Years ago I used the Hamachi VPN service but that service seems to have gone byebye. Bruce |
