The first of our 2018 Practical Astronomer sessions is a talk on get-togethers for amateur astronomers. This covers everything the range of conferences and exhibitions of interest to the amateur astronomers and Star Parties - up to week long gatherings of sometimes 100s of astronomers to observe at a campsites.
