FLRig doesn't follow FLDigi filter BW select #fldigi #flrig

Same thing happens on an IC-7851 on the BW. On the BW pull down, the Flrig BW controls the receiver with the selection, but the Fldigi/Flrig BW selector display does not change. Neither of the program displays (rig or digi) show the current operating receiver BW.
Also, on startup, you have to trigger the A/B to load the B radio memory into the A display and then hit A/B control again to get the sub and main into the proper order. Once you get the frequency displays in the correct order, it works well until I close the session and have to restart. Sort of looks like Flrig isn't catching the "B" (sub) receiver frequency on initialization and is duplicating the "A" (main) frequency in the Flrig display (read from the radio).

Same thing with alpha (1.4.7.55) and the IC-705 driver (used on an X6100) and the X6100 driver. The filter BW readings update but are wrong, e.g. with a 2900Hz filter, the reading is 2300. Don't know if the radio is replying with a bad reading or it is interpreted wrong by FLdig.

Hugo,

I strongly suggest that you get the latest alpha versions and then test again. There's been a lot of water under the bridge especially in flrig. Without using the newest ones it's very difficult to know if the issue has been already fixed or not.

Hi folks,

I been using FLRig + FLDigi for CW qsos in MCW mode, i.e. the radio is in Data-USB mode and FLDigi is sending audio tones (where they ought to be RF-wise) for the keyed CW.  What I've run into is that when I change the RX IF bandwidth of the radio with FLDigi, say from 500 Hz. to 250 Hz., FLRig will not echo the command issued from FLDigi nor does it display the actual state of the radio.  I have seen that FLRig will be one step behind the command from FLDigi, but not always, e.g.:

FLDigi command radio from 500 Hz to 250 Hz.  The radio goes to 250 Hz but FLRig stays at 500 Hz.
FLDigi command radio back to 500 Hz from 250 Hz.  The radio goes to 500 Hz. and FLrig shows the radio BW is 500 Hz.
etc.
After doing this a couple of times, the radio will stop responding to BW change commands from FLDigi and I have to change it from FLRig but the change doesn't show up in FLDigi.  So it seems there's some lack of talk going on between Digi and Rig.

Config:
Radio = Yaesu FT991A
Comm = 38400 via USB port with RTS handshake, 2 stop bits
Comp = Dell 7020/i5-4590 3.3 GHz desktop, 8 GB
FLDIGI = 4.1.23
FLRIG = 1.4.7

I've only noticed this recently since dowloading the FL apps from the web site (not the latest alphas posted on groups.io)

As well, the "Extra Controls" window now does not close automatically when closing the main FLRig window, which was the case in earlier versions as I recall.  A small niggle, but thought I'd mention it.

The reason I went to the versions of FLDigi and FLRig above is that one of the FLRig alphas beyond 1.4.7, I don't remember which, was crashing a lot when used with FLDigi.  It worked ok as a "radio" with WSJT-X but crashed too many times to be useful with FLDigi.  Anyway, I though to revert FLRig to the current stable release posted on the web site.

Any ideas/suggestions about the radio BW values not matching up?

Thanks & 73,
