flrig1.4.7.54 won't run with xiegu g90 under Win10

Older version worked fine with this exact setup the same day I moved to .54. Installed as Administrator. Error message is 'Transceiver not responding/ check serial com port connection'. All the autofilled details were correct, though some details had changed e.g.RTS and DTR were checked, with 2 stop bits used. If I switch to VarAC everything works. Re-boot from cold start of both PC and radio does not help. This has me stumped. I would like to use the new xml file/other capabilities for the G90 that appeared to start with this new version, but no luck. Anyone had better luck?

Try this: Go to C:\Users\<login-name>\ and rename the flrig.files directory to flrig1.files. Restart flrig and set it up from scratch. Let us know how it goes. 73,
