Operating Multiple Copies #fldigi

I have an IC-7300 and an IC-9700 and wish to use Fldigi with both on the same Windows 10 computer. I have tried multiple times to follow the instructions "Operating Multiple Copies" in the help file with no success. The instructions are very vague and seem to be lacking critical information needed to make this work or the instructions are out dated, not sure which. Please help!

There is no need of different installations of fldigi.

You have to access fldigi.exe with parameter for different configuration directory. Example

D:\installdir\Fldigi\fldigi.exe --config-dir "C:\Users\username\IC-9700"
