Problems logging state with N3FJP Logger
Larry Krist
Running FLDIGI in the WW DX RTTY Contest. All is fine until I hit log, then it transfers everything to the N3FJP Contest Logger except the State. When viewing the state in the FJP Logger, it is greyed out, the when hitting log, it dissapears. Any Ideas or fixes for this isssue?

I have the same problem. In addition, every contact is entered on FLdigi as Zone 05 when clicking on the call. Clicking on the right zone will not change it.

Found the problem. For whatever reason, and not sure which program is at fault, FLdigi or N3FJP, but the country labeled "United States" appears as a DX country. If you change it to USA in the drop down in FLdigi it works as it should. When I went to the old version of FLdigi it entered USA and would accept the state.
I just found out that it defaults back to United States. How do you change it to stay at USA when a US call is entered. Can't operate a contest by editing every contact. |

Did some more testing this morning. Found if I click on a call it lists the station as United States and grays out the State. If I manually type in the same call it lists the station as USA and the State will be accepted.
Another problem is most USA calls automatically get listed as Zone 5 even when they are in 04 or 03. So you have to fix that before logging. |

Thank you for the report. I am working on the problem and expect to publish a program update in the next hour. In the meantime you can use the text-left-click paradigm to
select call. If the country field fills in as "United States";
select USA from the drop down list for that control. It will be
easy to find. 73, David, W1HKJ On 9/26/20 9:34 AM, Fred K2DFC via
