Contest Counter Sticking
Jim Ruff
I'm running the WPX RTTY contest and every time I log a contact the serial # won't advance. I've tried logging using the logging button, the macros that I created "log/increase" and "increase". None of these works. I've had this problem in all of the recent contests. Please help!

I have a <LOG><INCR> macro and it saves the contact and increase the counter. No problems for years. I have found that every time FLDIGI is closed and reopened, I have to go to the contest screen and reset the counter to the proper number that N3FJP is at, it will show the proper number in the S# window in the fldigi window, but not sent it properly if I do not reset the counter. also it is very easy to get the numbers out of sequence between the two, you have to keep a very close watch on it in n3fjp or they will get all messed up. This happens if for some reason, you hit log in fldigi and it does not take in FJP, the you hit log again after you fix it in fldigi. It can be a real pain but you just have to watch it closely.
