Menu Bar is in German

I turned on Fldigi last night and noticed that the menu bar at the top and all the drop downs were in German not English. Any ideas on what caused this and how to fix it? I deleted the program and reloaded version 4.1.08 from the Fldigi website with the same results. I did have the program set up for "generic contest" as I was going to try to participate in the 070 Sprint contest today.

Select English as your UI language. or Using Notepad++ or Geany, open the file "fldigi.files\fldigi_def.xml". Search for: <!-- type: int; default: 0 Change the UILANGUAGE to zero. 73, David, W1HKJ |

Dave, Thanks, that did the trick. I noticed your screen shots were different than the version I was using. Are you using a newer RC, and if so, how might I download the latest RC? Thanks, Jim W7JHR |

I just downloaded 4.1.20....repeadedly...and I cannot find any config menu items to change the language to English. My config menu does not look like your screen shots. There is no General option under UI...or anywhere else.
