What are you using for your audio tones into your FT100? Are you running Windows 10?

My macros are working fine. All I want to do is change the order of two or three macros buttons in one of my two macro button lines. For example, instead of PSK63 followed on the right by PSK31 I’d like to reverse the buttons. In the years since I set them up I seem to have forgotten how to determine the order other than reconfiguring the existing ones. Thanks.

I am trying to get FLDIGI to work with Hamlib for my FT100d. The rig seems to switch to TX, but I don't seem to be getting anything out. Any tips on setting up hamlib or my FT100D, etc?

Hi Andy

I have seen this behavior on my FT817. Are you using fldigi
with frig? If so in the setup for fldigi under rig control
and the tab for flrig make sure the "Enable Flrig xcvr control with fldigi as client" has a check make.

This allows all apps to communicate together.

I hope this may help.

Switching frequency etc fine, but I like the look of Flrig etc and would like to use it.
Anyone seen this or have any ideas why this should be? Is the 1200 incompatible?

I found my mistake – I had rx output plugged into mike input instead of line input therefore clipping the mike input!!  I should know better!

Are you hearing static or seeing it on powerade and fldigi?

I am using fldigi 4.0.17 on a windoze 10 pc along with an Apache 7000 sdr receiver using PowerSDR mRX ps software.  7000 works fine – fldigi loads fine however when I decode any digital sigs there is a static background noise – on strong or weak sigs.  When the sig drops the static goes away.  If I tune WWV and their tone is on there is static in the background, when tone drops out and just tuned on the carrier there is no static.  The static sounds like random electric company insulator racket.  Any ideas what I am doing wrong with my setup?

Re: FT-5000 FLRig

Cliff

Rien,

When you say “I start Fldigi and Flrig CAT works normal” are you saying that you can transmit and the frequency and mode changes work normally?

If so, but only the sliders are not working, then in Flrig open the menu Config/Setup/Polling and set the first two rows to 1 by clicking on the “Set all” buttons and set the “Additional Controls” to 4 by clicking the button. The sliders should now work if everything else is normal.

Cannot turn off TxID

michaelszoke@...

I cannot seem to turn off TxID for any modes except PSK31 (which is the default setting).  I am using version 4.0.16.   The TxId toggle button has no effect. I also tried configuring the user interface by unchecking the modes, clicking "save", but the TxId still gets transmitted.  Has anyone else had an issue with this?

I will look at the start up changes that might have effected the K3... transceivers.

Thanks Cliff,

Exactly the same! I get a port error that flrig can not talk to the radio then says pick the right serial port then init. When I do that I get the same error. So I went back to previous version and checked the settings which were working. Puzzle to me.

Right now I am running neither as have a development version of FT8Call ( which is supposed to be able to talk to flrig just like WSJT-X talks to flrig) talking directly to my K3. After lunch I will try again. I rebooted my Win7 computer and the radio but no change.

Re: newbie question: CW transmit speed

It is designed to control the transceiver mode. For normal digital operation, it should be set to USB and the digital mode chosen from the Op-mode menu.

Re: newbie question: CW transmit speed

Ben, thanks for the picture!  It provided the needed clue.

Apparently, the drop down menu below the frequency display does not select or indicate the current mode.  Even though this prominent control said "CW", the smaller indicator in the lower left said "BPSK31".  When I changed modes using the op mode menu instead of the drop down menu under the frequency display, the indicator at the lower left changed to CW and the software worked as expected.  What does the mode control under the frequency display do?  Is it for rig control (which I'm not using since my rig does not support it)?  Thanks!

Hi Tom,

Have you verified that the Config/Transceiver pane is the exact same as on 1.3.39? If so then what happens when you click Init?

Hi.

I just downloaded and installed flrig 1.3.40 for my Win7pro computer. Will not talk to the radio. I switch back to version 1.3.39 and works but RF gain and AF gain to zero. I rotate those dials to zero and back to normal and works fine.

Something is wrong with version 1.3.40 on my set up. Any ideas?

Put the rig in USB mode, start Fldigi, click "Op Mode", "CW"  and it's in the bottom left corner, next to the receive speed.
