I been having great fun with this program on PSK31 ! I am a dinosaur with computers but got 4.1.23 on a laptop with Win10 which is major accomplishment

Really, setting it up again everything works.
The different names are because I renamed them in the Windows system to clearly differentiate between other Icom rigs

Ok, if it is working properly now you have no choice but to finish setting up the rest of the configuration manually. Your XML file looks ok from what I see so far so I don't know why it was

At same time only running also VSPE in Windows ini.
There is the files attached.
Creating new xml the problem is out but lost my config.

Odd!
To be sure I understand the sequence, when all is fine and you just close fldigi and then reopen it the soundcard devices change to something else and you get the message?
Also if you run fldigi

At my wits end ... Fldigi started locking up when I click the "Tune" button or attempt any transmit function. It had been working just fine in Windows 10 environment using a USB to TTL Serial Cable
