Re: TIMER macro question
The long CQ is a misunderstanding of advice on the Olivia group. Will change my length.

Re: TIMER macro question
I use the <AFTER:xx> command. I have mine set for 20 seconds after I unkey, it will begin transmitting. Olivia at 8/250 with one of those lines will take about 30 ~ 35 seconds. I only use one line.

Oh my - with an almost 4 minute CQ, I would assume that someone’s transmitter and computer had frozen up. Yeah, that’s a tad long.

An oft repeated misunderstanding of the timer macro. Perhaps the cause is US vice the Queen's English.
You did not say which Olivia (baud rate changes significantly), but you

Re: TIMER macro question
Guy,
Timer is the wrong macro tag to use. Try the After macro tag. If that doesn’t do what you want try the Wait tag.

Re: TIMER macro question
I remembered what the issue is. The timer starts at the beginning of the macro. So, the timer command must include the running time of the macro and THEN add any waiting time.

Re: TIMER macro question
How long does it take to do the 10 CQ's?
SomewhereI think I have read that the timer basically starts with the start of the macro.
so does the 10 cq's take around 230

Re: Tolerate Line Wrapping
We have ARC forms in our Flmsg folder and they are sent exactly as designed after entering the data. The recipient has to have the same form in his/her Flmsg folder for this to work.

Re: Station Details in PSK Reporter
Chris - thanks for the tip. It was either the "spot" button turn on or one of the other suggestions but the antenna info is now showing up on my callsign spots. Problem solved.

Taking a wild shot at this, but when I open the configuration menu, It has to be on the same screen as the main program. Sounds strange, and took me awhile to figure out.
