Re: flrig - KX3
Jay,
Did you close both flrig and fldigi and then just open flrig? My first thought is that something, like hamlib in fldigi already has the com port tied up.
If that doesn’t work then after closing

flrig - KX3
Well, I feel like an idiot. I've spent days trying to link flrig (1.3.49) with my KX3 and fldigi (4.1.09) on my Win 10, 64 bit laptop with no success.
The KX3 and fldigi have been running great using

Re: Using Wikeyer in CW mode
Nope. Just had a thought. I need to recheck port 1 on the WK to see if it works CW (with or without fldigi). Then I'll know for sure what the problem is. :)
Ready for the contest tomorrow!!

Re: Using Wikeyer in CW mode
Bo,
You can select either Key1 or Key2 in the WinKeyer setup in Fldigi.

Using Wikeyer in CW mode
Solution found!
It works perfectly only if the rig CW line is connected to KEY 2 on the Winkeyer
Bring on the CW contest!!
IC-7610, fldigi (both in CW mode), Winkeyer, N3FJP logger, and the life saver

Re: Macro sending problems
Bo,
Go to C:/Users/<login-name>/and delete/rename the fldigi.files directory. That will get rig of all the fldigi configuration files as if it had never been installed before.

NOPE! :( Removed and re-installed to 4.1.09. Completely re-wrote the macros, looked at them in a text editor and

Re: Macro sending problems
Thanks for the response. I've noted as I age I get confused a lot more.
I learned a lot and took notes this time.
I think I've ironed everything out.

From the on-line fldigi manual

Screen map?
I was using Domex 8, a little while ago, and noticed some I hadn't noticed before.
What is the "box" between the S/N and IMD area and the TX attenuator controls used for? what caught my attention

Re: "Bugs" in latest version? Nope!
IT WAS THE COMPUTER. NOT ME OR THE SOFTWARE!
I moved the macros to another computer and the problems are gone.
I'll reload the software and make sure the old is gone and I should be good to go.

Aha, it wasn't me!!! I had strange probems but worked around it. First I need to find the differences between SERNO and CNTR . There IS a difference. The INCR only works on the CNTR.

fldigi can be resized if viewing is difficult for a person who is sight disabled. This technique is primarily for Windows. I have tested only on Windows 7.

Repeating Macros
I have been using FLDIGI 4.1.09.18 in the CQ WPX contest and have been experiencing macros that repeat by them selves every once and a while. Has anyone else seen this happen?
Thanks,
Larry
