Can you see if the transmitting station is sending the ID sig at the beginning? Many stations don’t send any ID signal so RxID won’t be able to identify the signal.

Gus,
Most likely there is some issue with config files. Go to Users/Login Name/files.fldigi and rename the two config files, fldigi_def.xml and fldigi.prefs. Then start fldigi and set it up

I've had this problem when the connected USB sound card is a different type than what it was the last time fldigi was closed on the same computer.

Installed - Opens but immediately closes
Installed 4.0.18 on Win 10 ver 18-09. FLDIGI opens, looks OK, but immediately closes. Ran as administrator, but get same results.
Any idea what is shutting this down?

FLDigi 4.0.18 will not start - Please disregard - Solved
Renamed the Fldigi.files and tried again, and then I was able to get FlDigi to start. I had looked at the wrong place.

FLDigi 4.0.18 will not start, just after installation
I am new to this group, and have checked the archives for information about the no-start, but found nothing that helps. I run Win 10 Pro with the latest updates yesterday on a Dell Latitude E7440, i7

Make sure that Windows is blocking socket access to either fldigi or flrig. Also make sure there isn't a flrig zombie running in the background. Easiest way to insure that only a single instance

They both look correct. If you look in the folders
c:\Users\Den\flrig.files-7100\
and
c:\Users\Den\flrig.files-7300\
You should find to files that are used to save the configuration
