Kati’s book Warp With A Trapeze and Dance With Your Loom has a recipe she uses for warps that might tend to break.  I do not know of a dressing she uses to prevent static.  Rubbing a dryer sheet over the surface of a tensioned warp helps reduce static, as does spraying with a product for children’s hair called No More Tangles.

I’ve used Cowboy Magic (mane and tail groomer) with mohair warps.

I think the recommendation for Cowboy Magic(? I think that's right) came from Kati. It's a horse mane detailer that really does help with sticky and static ridden warps. I ordered it off Amazon.

Definitely try Cowboy Magic! It's great! A little bit rubbed into the warp behind the castle. S.
