Chiming in here as the CW Merchandise person, aka Book Shipper....

The USPS picked up 200+ lbs of books on Monday (7/18).  Many of those were scanned, but some are not showing scanned in the system yet, even though they left my house on Monday.

I have another 450 lbs of books packaged up and ready to be picked up by USPS tomorrow.

And that doesn't count all the ones to Canada which have to go UPS....or overseas which go all sorts of different carriers to make it as inexpensive as possible.

So, in short -- yes, there are a lot of books being shipped right now. As fast as I can.

And most of the US ones are going Media Mail, which gives the USPS up to 7-8 days to deliver (according to their website).

If you can just hold on a little bit longer, you should be getting your books.  And if you still don't have it by the end of next week (assuming the USPS picks up everything in my front hall tomorrow), please feel free to reach out to me individually and I can check to see when it went out.

Thanks,
Amy Norris

I'm sorry you're waiting too, but it's nice to know I'm just being impatient. It must be a lot of packages to get mailed.

I'm still waiting for mine. The post office says it hasn't received it yet. Hopefully that doesn't mean there's a problem, other than me being impatient.

I received my copy yesterday of the CW 40th Anniversary Book and
couldn't put it down!  Hats off to the editor Laurie Autio and her
committee for a wonderful book.  And a big thank you to all the weavers
who contributed weaving projects.

The organization of the book is wonderful. The photographs are so clear
you want to reach out and touch the cloth. And each entry has great tips.

If you didn't pre-order the book, it is available on the CW website

Enjoy some inspiring weaving!
