Hello Everyone,
I'd like to invite anyone who'll be at Convergence on July 18 to join us at the Speakers Session for American Tapestry Alliance (ATA). I'm not sure of location yet but it will be from noon to 4 pm and is open to all.
ATA's small format unjuried exhibit is hanging at Emporium in downtown Knoxville, site of the Complex Weavers exhibit also. There are around 140 tapestries included, all 10" or less in dimension.
Additionally, I want to mention an exhibit I'm part of that will be on one of the tours. It's "Three Voices: Expressions of Contemporary Tapestry" featuring work by Jennifer Sargent, Pat Williams, and Tommye Scanlin. It's at Clayton Center for the Arts, Denso Gallery, Maryville College, Maryville, TN, July 1-29. Reception will be on July 16 from 2-4 pm.
