TC-1 (Thread Controller 1) Modern Jacquard Loom from Norway
Hi again Folks,
Please forgive a second email today. Mom has come to the moment when it is time to sell her last loom, the TC-1. If you are interested, or can pass it on to any who might be interested, we would be very grateful. The description follows. It's also being listed other places. We appreciate all your help. Mom can no longer see well enough to weave. But naturally she is free to answer any questions.
Best wishes, - Deb (Sigrid's daughter)
This is the original TC-1, purchased originally in 2003. The aluminum modern jacquard has the original manual and the following options included: six modules and 1320 heddles, 56 inches wide weaving width, an additional warp beam, a PC shelf and a pair of warp beam side flanges. The product allows for semi-automatic cloth advancing. The original owner was one of the first individuals in the U.S. to own a TC-1 (as opposed to an institution) and it is meant for advanced weavers, and basic computer knowledge is required to run the software (Weave for Windows). This runs with an air compressor and modules may be expanded. Serious offers only entertained. Proposed cost: $20,000 and pick-up only.
