Balloon Fiesta

Hi All, Do any of you know where I might find an eight harness draft for a hot air balloon? I’m going to be the featured artist of the month at our art gallery in Albuquerque and thought that it would be fun to get into the spirit of the balloon fiesta. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks, Jennifer

I made a "sculpture" of a hot air balloon back in 1982. Not 8 shafts though. It was done in strips on my 4 shaft table loom, the pieces cut out and sewn together. (Picture attached.)

YOu might try first sketching the simplest balloon shape you can. Then try
putting that shape into something that you can weave on your loom. I have a little sheep graphic - 12 x 12 pixels that I have used for blankets, a quilt, greeting cards and other things - it lends itself to block or profile designs.
