I finally got the Mesdan knotter that I ordered from Onrion about three months ago. This is made in Italy. It is a model W/158 and is supposed to knot threads from 12/2 to 4/4. It does 8/2 very nicely

Not all looms are equal when it comes to rep. I have done it very easily on a big, old cm loom, and on a Leclerc cb loom. Not so much on a Barbara IV set up as cb. Wouldn't try it on a jack loom. Sand
