I originally started it, saying that I have done a lot of work with
large fly shuttle looms and have developed aching hands. I got some
compression gloves with copper (which is anti-inflammatory)

bicycle gloves or weight lifters. usually leather, padded palm, fingerless. Joe thought they were for the fly shuttle pull but for me it is for protection from the beater.

I use the gloves to protect my hands from the beater. I have smallish hands and do production weaving. The cap on the beater is wider and my hands get sore. Think of walking barefoot for 10 miles. It

I like the schacht ultra umbrella swift. Ball bearing, smooth movement, turns from upright to parallel to floor.
