Keep a record of what type of bar connection is being used when the mispatterning occurs. It may be that the zip ties are just a wee bit too tight/too loose and/or not exactly identical on both sides.

The Allen head in the roller is, more or less, a timing issue, but shouldn't make the pins fall between the fingers. It does change the angle the pins hit the fingers- they should hit directly

AVL FDL Mechanical Dobby
Although my FDL Mechanical Dobby has worked fine for years, now the pins for shaft 2 through 8 sometimes fall between the actuator paddles rather than on them. Sometimes the pin finds the blank space

What does this mean for other bamboo products like our yarns? Many vendors say it uses less chemicals and it is either that or tencel that claims almost 100% reclamation of liquids involved. False
