wanted: a trick for Fiberworks PCW
I have a longish design, meant to be woven with a thick (compared to the warp) fluffy weft.
To keep the total weight down, I want to use several tabbies between each thick pick.
Is there a trick that

Take it slow-
You'll stop thinking in terms of tie ups as there are none in the classic sense; it's more like a 12 h direct tie up, one shaft per treadle, if you had 12 legs!

My CompuDobby 2 unit did just fine on the trip from NJ to Zurich, and
again from Zurich to Vancouver.
The real problem on boats is the board flexion on longer boards -
they are held in two rails

I've done computer networking in a sintered metal environment - computers work, or at least don't die, to over 100 degrees F. Cold is also not a problem, as in normal winter temps. I've ordered

Underslung Dobby....
I kept remembering an old article on the Underslung Dobby loom and finally found it in my loom notes (near the bottom, of course) from 1991, it's in Weaver's magazine, 1991, issue 15, pages 52 & 53.
