Hemp makes great towels because of its near-linen absorbency. Hemp has the added value of being mildew-resistant - especially great for towels in hot, humid environments, or for anything that might need to be stored damp - as in boat sails. Or, simply because it is a re-discovered, cool fiber to use. Hemp also has linen's near-zero stretch.
