Wax lubes on wood screws....

Fine Woodworking magazine recently did a test on waxes to see which worked
best when driving screws. I thought this might have some benefits for other
uses, so I will paraphrase the scored results minus a couple of commercial
lubes that did the best.
Best non-commercial screw lube wax is Beeswax, second is Paste Wax, third
is Paraffin Wax. The worst score is no wax at all. Soap was not tested as it
holds moisture and could create rust.
