I worked some of the end of the 10m contest today. If anyone says the bands are dead, they are NOT getting on the air. If you are a Technician waiting for your General to get on the air, 10m is just waiting for you. I worked several stations  on phone and on CW. I am sure I could have make 50 or more had I started earlier.

Also, CW is cool. It is kind of unique to Amateur Radio anymore.
