Thanks Allan, that is my crossing. Years ago we collaborated on that page.

Here is the link to the discussions on crossings. You will have to scroll down a few diagrams to get to the 90 deg crossing.

There is an explicit color coded diagram on where to wire and where to gap on Allan Gartner's Wring for DCC. I printed a copy to use when wiring mine to a reverser. Wil |

Make sure you have gaps cut as shown on Fast track plans to start with

Rob,
I made 15, yes 15 of these to model the 3 by 5 crossing of the Wabash and Illinois Central in Decatur Illinois.
You have to cut the middle of the 4 sides. Then on the upper right and lower left they need a reverser. Or you could do upper left and lower right.
Easiest way is to draw out the rails with red for one and black for the other. When a red and black intersect, add a reverser.

I just completed a hand laid 90* Crossing and was wondering if any one knows how to hook up a reverser to it correctly. I model in HO scale and my layout is controlled with a Digitrax DCC system. Thank you for any advice you can offer. Rob Briney |
