DCS210 programming track
The programming track only has power on it when the command station is writing a CV, otherwise it is unpowered. You cannot read back CV on the main track, Programming on the Main track is write only.

DCC Bus distribution and snubbers question
I had success using a snubber on one occasion. When I started building my layout I had a DCC bus length approaching 120 feet in length. The bus was 14 gauge solid copper wire (stripped out of Loomex).
