Extending the short circuit time on my DCS51 still solved MY problem. OP switch 18 to C.

Thanks, John. I won't put another booster on the Christmas list, then. Thanks, also, for those opsw pointers.
Would you know if JMRI could be used to manage this config? I'd like to have as many

Hi Blair:
Yes, you can do what you suggest.
The DCS50 does function well as a 2.5 Amp Booster; set OpSw #2 = "c". Yes, you can still use the throttle on the DCS50.
For interfacing with a PM42 you

Don,
Our problem is not a reversing loop, it is on the mainline as the cars cross from one block t another. Thanks.

Efficient utilization of aged equipment (Digitrax Specific)
Hi
As my RR grows, I find I have need for more booster current than I get from my single DCS100. The expansion plan moves to three boosters (counting the DCS100), plus a location for a fourth. That

Re: PECO Code 100 24 Degree Crossing: Shorting Issue
Hi Dan, I use the TAM Valley dual frog juicer on my PECO crossing. Works like a champ. They have great products. I have many various juicers installed under my layout. See you Saturday.

I had the same issue. I believe I set OP switch 18 to C (closed) on my DCS51 to extend the short recognition time. It seems to have done the trick. BTW if you reset the DCS51 or command station back

Jerry you have rediscovered the reason to make all AR sections longer than the longest train. Many passenger cars have multi-axle pickup where two or more axes on a Truck are electrically connected

Re: Walthers lighted passenger cars
Hello Chuck:
A small diode should do, it just needs to carry the current of the lights in the car.
For the rest I'll need some more details.

Thanks for your help
