Hello Mark:
An important part of maintenance is keeping the track clean. I use Scotch Brite disks mounted to the bottom of a gondola. I wanted to make them

Clean track and other power pickup issues may be a problem. Consider using some sort of keep-alive added to your locos.

Re: Running Wire in Cut Groves of Accent Trim for Perch/Shelf N Scale Trackage. Trackage through Walls?
Oh... be sure to use plenty of track feeders to avoid poor sectional track connections where it will be difficult later to investigate and fix. And leave room to accommodate some track roadbed vs rail

I use a separate 5V bus for my servos turnout controllers. I currently
have about about ten installed. I drive my bus with a switching power
supply. Jameco probably has the best US prices. I

Turntables need a reverser only when they actually turn the loco around to head in the other direction.

Turntable Reversing.
Hi Tom:
We added reversing cam switches to the turntable shaft. They work OK, but there is a dead space where we have no tracks.
You can also use a toggle

Hi Don,
Are the turntables always in need of an auto reverser by default?
Thanks,

As updated there are no reversing loops except for the turntable itself.

Re: Fw: binding wires in DCC installation
A friend of mine uses a different approach to keeping wires out of the motor of a locomotive. He uses Aleene's Tack-It Over and Over. You can use the adhesive to hold down wires and you can peel

Re: power supply for servos?
Hi!
You power both systems from the DCC Bus or a 12v supply.
The control boards supply the power to the servos.
