Paul,

1 last idea to consider -- on the PSX's, CV49 (or jumpers) tell them when to trip to protect the booster (5 amp DB150, in your case). If you are using the default trip value (3.8 amps), the section draw at transition/reverse on the DB150 may be peaking above 3.8 (short of 5 amps) momentarily as the cycle draw changes (momentary/no damage but still enough to trigger the fault in the PSX, which, in turn, causes other things to cycle like the turnouts). Perhaps try bumping up the PSX trip to 5 amps (equivalent to the booster max) and see if the same result occurs.
