[Tsjoch] Finally the merger between Kemedal and Ansonia is complete with the installation of the new government today, more than six months after the elections. The new government consists of the same parties as the last government of pre-merger Kemedal, which may cause some dissatisfaction among the new Ansonian part of the population, although the coalition parties made sure to include some Ansonians in the government as well.
An overview of the new government can be found here, and the how and why can be found here. For those who liked the colourful old government overview, I put it on another page, and as time goes on, the new post-merger overview will become more colourful too.
Many salutations,
~ Bernard[/Tsjoch]

Splendid work, and I am so glad... just
a couple days after I thought to myself "aw jeez, I guess
Vexillium is really dead now", here come traces of new activity
again! 😍

Yes, NationStates has absorbed almost all of my geofictional activity and that has started to annoy me recently, as most people there are just there to wage war on each other instead of constructing their nations. I am considering to put an end to my presence there and focus on some of my older nations again, but who knows how a cow catches a hare.

Vexillium dead? Impossible! But you can get the impression that most of its inhabitants are sitting in front of their PCs playing role playing games, the most popular of which is "wörk", a sequel of "ëärth".

House of Dragon? That sounds like some kind of political series in which the UK PM needs to travel to a Chinese restaurant in Leicester to throw a towel in a ring. 🤔

No, UK politics is some strange fantasy series whilst HBO House of the Dragon is a realistic political series 🤷🏻♂️

Bernard, Excellent as ever. Love the map -- dang you do nice work. Good use of the <marquee> element. (G'AH! How much fiddly javascript that is now replacing, that makes it so much easier now. I mean, just LOOK at what Jaggedblue.com has at the top of the page. UGH!) Sympathies about NationStates. I looked longingly many times before, but it just seemed to lack the tools and creative commitment to make it something wondrous. Still, for all its being how it is, it's the facebook of Geofictioning, now -- easy, accessible, doesn't make you write your pages in "that's too hard/much work" HTML, stupidly fun, unserious, full of absurdities. Near as I can tell, anyways. Refer attached, either way. On 2022-10-22 05:25, Winfried Schrödter wrote: Vexillium dead? Impossible! This is the game my peoples are all playing most. I *KNOW* they don't love it, but I also know that poverty doesn't appeal to them, either. Actually, secondarily, my Vexillium output is constipated, at last, by my lack of linguistic skills and my dogged refusal to compromise on quality of naming and language outputs. Eh, that and programming skills. I envy the apparent ease with with names of people and towns just roll effortlessly from your fingers, Bernard. It may not be so, and it may be that you're cringing behind your fingers whispering, "I sure hope he doesn't take a close look", but they're highly effective whatever the truth. Hi you guys. Yep, not dead, still here. Just busy reporting on whether Brazil is going back to become a somewhat functional democracy again in a week or so, or if we'll continue a downward spiral into a military-theocratic hellhole.
But yeah, PoCapi and co still here.

I hope for the functional democracy, also because one of the colleagues on my team is originally from Brazil and I prefer her to be in a good mood :)
