How many km and/or mi is one pixel on the map again?

[TECH] Dear all, 

After updating the statistics for my nations for 323 AP, I was annoyed (like every year) that I don't have the area numbers of most of my nations (and even Tak's isn't very accurate) so I decided that I wanted to calculate them at last. How many km and/or mi is one pixel on the map again?

Hello Bernard,

1. The map scale is different in N-S ans E-W directions.

2. Long time ago it was decided that Vexillium has different dimensions than earth.

I can look this decision up but it will take some time. I must admit that I always used the earth diametre.

That said, I get
1 px E-W = 5.11 km
1 px N-S = 5.65 km

With the numbers given in the other post I get
1 px E-W = 4.937 km
1 px N-S = 5.455 km
