I've been out of touch for a while, but after reading the posts on the clues, what makes sense is Silverwood Park. I don't have a car, so will not be out looking, but I have a friend who goes on walks

Saw something on the internet about twitter social media claiming 'delta omicron' is an anagram for 'Media Control'! Look it up. Don't know if that means anything.

"Cred" def. refers to 'street credibility' or street smarts. Maybe the clue writer is telling us to 'know our streets' and some/lots of these clues refer to street names.

"Strap on your mask, get down to the task" could be a reference to what a baseball catcher or hockey goalie does; both wear protective masks and have to 'crouch down' to perform their respective tasks

"The treasure waits so alone" could mean that the 'medallion' is not wrapped in anything.

The hunt itself is a marathon and not a sprint (usually goes to the final clue), at least the past few years. From Delta to Omicron could mean from 'D' to 'O'; maybe the park sits between streets star
