They definitely left out the words "up" and "of" which is odd. And they definitely spelled "sights" wrong which is also odd. Perhaps an anagram? It is found in a list of sites?

Matt, I love your noodling on these clues. And the Wild connection is perfect being the PP did a hunt there one summer connected with the Wild.
The map seems to indicate some herringbone pattern. 😊
For clue three, I have thought that the genuflect, being a mostly Catholic term (speaking as a recovering Catholic), would mean the view of the Cathedral from some parts of IM.
For clue 5, the stonecutters part – I had found that too. I believe though that the stonecutters, which there were many, is a connection to the State Capital that is also visible from the park. Frank St running parallel to Johnson Pkwy might be in play too.

For clue 6, I didn’t know about the ski jump. Cool beans learn something new. I wonder If the hopping would be too much of a stretch to bring the Hopewell tribe yo mind. They are one of the tribes and likely the first to be buried in those mounds. The Hopewell is where my mind went quickly because I know the history.

I went around Noon and I'd say there were about a dozen people spread out, but a lot of drive by hunters too. For what it's worth, I did spot Rob Brass coming out of the woods on the East end of the park, crossing the street towards Obb's bar. It looks like Phalen Creek makes its way through the park near there before dumping into the Mississippi. I walked part of the "Tree Trek Map" and there are no tracks of any sort, but I will say I'm not sold that the "deed is done" video means anything at all. I'll be out hunting this weekend with my kids so look for my bright purple Vikings sweatshirt and say hello.

It assumes the medallion was found yesterday on Clue 5. So your guesses from Clue 1 get multiplied by 5 (for 5 clues), so 50 points. Your clue 2 guesses are multiplied by 4, so 40 points. And then 30, 20, and 10 for your guesses on the day the medallion was (theoretically) found. That's a total of 150. Now on clue 6, all the previous guesses bump up another 10 in value (10x6) + (10x5) + (10x4) + (10x3) + (10x2) and you have 10 more for today, so now you have 210 points total. Tomorrow it will be 280, and then 360, and then 450 if the hunt keeps going. David B. Allison

Frank street parallels Johnson parkway leading to IM park. Clue 5: GRU airport code for Sao Paulo (St. Paul) references clear visibility of the St. Paul airport and the airway beacon still stands. Clue 6: The first ever Ski Jump in St. Paul was built in Indian Mounds, before being destroyed and rebuilt in Battle Creek. A ski jumping hill certainly has a summit and would obviously plummet. When the medallion was at Conway, it's wasn't found on the boulevard. It was a little further in, roughly in line with the bench behind the backstop.
I've been thinking about the tracks in the video (the video seems to have been removed now) and I still think they are cross country tracks. Not from a single skier, or groomed tracks, but if you have multiple people forging their way through over time, the tracks can widen. Regardless, once you get to the park, look for some tracks!
