This clue from the 1962 hunt has some interesting parallels with the clues so far:

Join Carnival hi-jinks, come on the run;
The treasure hunt is part of the fun.
A distant landmark in the sky
Blinks its message from on high.
Hi-jinks meant Jenks Street was nearby. The distant blinking landmark was the illuminated sign atop the First National Bank.
