Yup. When I was researching small, portable Linux laptops awhile back, I ran into that a lot. It runs Linux in the big print, but it's a custom build in the small print. Yikes! Snakes everywhere!!

Today I took a closer look at this, and I'm not sure whether Linux will install on it. It has its OS in firmware, either Windows or a custom Linux -- the listing doesn't say which. I can't find

Lenovo ThinkCentre M625q on Ebay for $50 -- Raspberry Pi alternative
#rpi
A seller on Ebay has a bunch of Lenovo ThinkCentre M625q systems on sale for $40 + $10.55 shipping. Specs are 4GB RAM and 32DB storage. This would make a thrifty alternative to a Raspberry Pi, with

Re: Linux logging programs besides CQRLOG
Hi Bob,
I use CQRLOG as to some extent, and I really like it. The only reason I don't use it as much anymore is because I wrote my own logging/automation app. But mapping features are pretty lacking.

I'm curious if anyone has any experience with Linux logging programs besides CQRLOG. While that looks to be decent, I was curious if there is anything closer to Log4OMNG on Windows or

Watch out for debian/ubuntu package `pat` 0.12.1-1
I posted this message over on "pat users", but I thought it might be relevant to users here as well: https://groups.google.com/g/pat-users/c/AJmJ9_OYlAc/m/9XmixCWoAgAJ
The short of it is the debian

Yes, Crouton is an option, Kevin. I had looked at it, but decided I wanted to remove the Google connection, and also to devote all the machine's limited resources to Linux.
Thanks for mentioning that

Bob, the firmware from mrchromebox.tech is what GalliumOS relies on, and is what I installed. It does indeed allow for any Linux distro to be installed. I went with GalliumOS to see how it works. I
