Updated test results of five SATA to USB 3.0 Adapter on a Raspberry Pi with SSD.

Ugreen SATA to USB 3.0 adapter has become the new leader as fastest SATA to USB 3.0 adapter (USB powered).

Ugreen SATA to USB 3.0 Adapter is the choice for USB powered adapter.
The Ugreen SATA to USB 3.0 AC powered adapter is faster and does not use Raspberry Pi USB 3.0 current.

Samsung 860 EVO 500 GB SSD
