Hey, I’m still out here. Haven’t messed with Asterisj much in the last couple of months, mostly because of other projects and traveling.

Leaving for a cruise tomorrow in fact.

I plan to get back to it though, have some ideas I want to work on, just have to find the time.

Just helped my mom cut the cord she’s used to streaming already and really wasn’t watching cable anymore, so it wasn’t really a big deal.

We’re excited here because we have a new completely local fiber provider that we’re ready to get her switched to as soon as they get the fiber for her neighborhood buried. So that’s the next step, then no more Xfinity.

When she tried to cancel, they didn’t hassle her at all, I guess they don’t anymore. “What about sports?” “I don’t watch sports.” “Oh, well ok then.”

Hi everyone!

Really sorry, I've been really busy with life, work, other projects, etc. So, I haven't had the time to mess with adding new features to TandmX.

I just wanted to check in, see how everyone is! Does anyone still use TandmX? Is there any issues that need to be addressed?

Any requests, features, bugs, etc. ?

Just want to hear from people! Thanks!

I might just do a site redirect and tell everyone on the mailing list, Might be the easiest route.

Hey Paul, good to hear from you! It's been a minute since I've dealt with Fail2Ban, so sadly I can't be of much help with that. Dylan's had some stuff going on, and just like I've said before, been really busy, so merging NPSTN and TandmX has kinda just been on the back burner. Hopefully one day soon we will merge, as it's really not too difficult.

Hi Jaiden - I've got TandmX running, but I have to turn it off periodically as there are so many hits of IP addresses trying to attach to the system. Fail2Ban is on there, but I don't understand it well enough to stop. I'm not new to Fail2Ban but each time I install it although I add my ignoreip and set up the SSH part, I can't seem to make the Asterisk IP-tables part work. I have the settings to ban for ever -1 but the same IP address bombards my system using all the machine speed and ram.

One day I'll be able to master that side of it. As you say there are other things in life you need to sort out.

Hope you are well. I wondered what had happened to the idea of merging NPSTN and TandmX.
