Live, work in, or know someone who works or lives in East San Jose?

Here's your chance to get involved in helping to make walking, bicycling,
and taking public transit in East San Jose better and safer. How, you ask?
Get involved via the City of San Jose's En Movimiento (Moving) Community
Advisory Group (CAG).

Details on how the En Movimiento CAG will work, and future proposed meeting
structure, are below. If you want to get involved, let Peter Rice of the
City of San Jose know by this Friday.

Good afternoon, En Movimiento Stakeholders In late September we hosted our
most recent En Movimiento Community Advisory Group meeting. The agenda for
that meeting included:

* San Antonio Evaluation
* San Antonio Crosswalk Update
* McLaughlin Quick-Build Construction
* Quick-Strike Designs and
* One bay area Grant Program
* Five Wounds Urban Village Update
* Community Advisory Group for 2022-2023

If you want to watch a recording of that meeting and/or read the meeting
summary and see the presentation, you can now do so here: EM CAG Webpage
<https://www.sanjoseca.gov/your-government/departments-offices/transportatio
n/projects-planning/east-san-jos-mtip/en-movimiento-community-advisory-group
-7176> .

We are also in the process of forming the next iteration of the En
Movimiento Community Advisory Group. If you are interested in joining the
group for the next year, please send me an email. This is a great
opportunity to share your thoughts on transportation issues and projects in
East San Jose. I expect much of our work in the next year to focus on:

1. King Road Complete Streets
2. Five Wounds Urban Village Update
3. Long-term designs for En Movimiento Corridors

It is not a big commitment, we've been shooting for four meetings a year but
usually have 2-3. I know many of you have a lot to offer so I hope you will
consider it!
