Dear Society of Medical Anthropology community members,As many of you will have heard, the United States Supreme Court recently released the decision in Dobbs v. Jackson, which has significant implications for access to abortion in the United States. A group of concerned medical anthropologists has drafted the following statement for consideration as an official statement of the SMA. We have reviewed it as an Executive Board and would like to turn it over to you, our community, for further commentary.
