Time to crowd-source a best plan. Friday is looking better, but not overwhelmingly so.
This clear sky chart is for Look Rock but probably close enough. https://www.cleardarksky.com/c/LkRckTNkey.html?1 For reference, KO has abandoned Saturday for Friday but they are going north as well. Thoughts?

While I cannot do Friday I would suggest go on Friday and Saturday becomes a backup. Forrest Lee Erickson Cell: 865-518-1040 Sent from cell.

Greetings all, Saturday is poor enough by current forecast to cancel. It's looking like 10% cloud at 9; at 10p 40%, dipping to 20% at 1 or 2am. I also cannot commit to a Friday night (this time). Not hearing any other advocates for Friday night, I will say we are cancelled for evening activities this weekend. Next weekend looks very poor, but Wed. night might be nice if anyone wants to get out in the middle of the week. However, that is not all doom and gloom for astro activities. Please consider dropping by the Blount County Library from 11a-1p tomorrow. We are projected to have clear skies, and may have at least 4 solar scopes set up. Best regards, James
