Description:
Weather conditions permitting, we would then have some observational time outdoors from 7:30pm to 8:00pm. As it will still be daylight, we should still be able to observe the moon in the sky. However, we will have other visual aids (including plans for our indoor planetarium) to talk about the moon and the night sky. Our program will cover telescopes (types and usage), stars and constellations, moon phases and details to observe, as well as the highlights of the Apollo moon missions and the upcoming Artemis missions.
