Oceano is awash with Swainson's Thrushes. Warbling Vireos are also flitting
about everywhere--as are Eurasian Collared Doves, with 6 calling in the park
this morning and a few more seen in adjacent neighborhoods in Grover Beach.
Other migrants, Western Tanagers, Black-headed Grosbeaks, and Western Wood
Pewees were there in smaller numbers. A female Hermit Warbler was seen--but
no Townsend's, surprisingly.
