Morro Coast Audubon Society Presents FIELD TRIP: Estero Bluffs/Villa Creek - All the Birds that we Ignore DATE: Saturday, February 11, 2023 TIME: 8:00am - 10:00am LEADER: Mark Mushkat CO-LEADER: Max Taylor Trip is limited to 15 participants. Signups will be taken for 24 hours. 15 participants will be randomly selected. The remainder will be put on standby status in case of cancellations. DESCRIPTION: Gulls, Sparrows, Cormorants - All the birds we ignore! We’ll explore the grasslands and coastline and beaches for the dullest birds imaginable. A modest level of masochism required, this isn’t for the lazy, casual observer! Easy, mostly level trails, 1-2 miles. Bring a hat, water, snacks, sunscreen, binoculars and field guides (if you have them) and dress in layers to accommodate wind and changing weather. Sturdy shoes are recommended. Scopes are helpful here. Cameras are welcome. Restrooms are not available. Rain cancels. ADA Accessible - No Experience Level: All Levels Welcome RSVP and Proof of Full COVID Vaccination Required!
