Lone Black Brant

Judy Neuhauser

There is one lone Black Brant on the north end of Sierra Nevada Point Beach. It was nibbling at Ulva in the tide pools at low tide. Seen from 11 am - 12:30 pm, when it was flushed by some hikers and flew around the next point north. Also saw 2 Black Oystercatchers in the tide pools. They were not interacting with each other - I don't know if they were a pair. 2 Photos on Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/138747946@N04/?
