While not a bit rare in the scheme of things, I do think it is always of interest when something odd shows up in our local bird world. Today I passed by Cayucos Creek parking lot and spotted a very pale bird moving in the grass along the creek.
I posted a photo for your amazement/amusement along with 2 of the now famous Cassin's Sparrow taken today at Estero Bluffs.
